In the Beginning . . .

I love cars.  No, I don’t think you understand.  It’s a sad obsession of mine that usually causes people around me to roll their eyes and sigh.  I love Volkswagen, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Pagani, Bugatti, Tesla, Audi, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Ford, Holden, Spyker, Koenigsegg, Bristol, Morgan, Renault, Lotus, Porsche, Toyota, Honda, Acura, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Lexus, Mercedes, BMW, Saab, GM, Jaguar, Hyundai, Mazda, Chrysler, Tata, Volvo, Land Rover, Suzuki and the list goes on.

If it has four wheels and any type of propulsion I can generally talk your ear off.  And I will enjoy doing so.  These things that transport us from point A to point B aren’t just meaningless moving platforms (a la public transit).  To me they are the most interesting things in the world.  These things look, sound, feel, smell, and are just plain cool!

And if you’ve come to this site then you probably feel the same way.

This blog is meant as an outlet for me to discuss my passion with like-minded individuals.  I read a lot of automotive news on the internet and in magazines, but I’m really never able to write back.  Until now.

With this blog we will discuss: what’s happening in the auto industry; how the F1 season is going; why certain automotive publications are better than others; why in the hell Aston Martin is coming out with a city car; what the best first car is; the pros and cons of speed limits; and anything else that tickles my fancy and relates to cars.  I would love to be like a real automotive journalist and tell you how fast I drove a Ferrari on its press launch, but I’ve never driven a Ferrari, nor see it happening any time soon.  But if I do this blog will be the first place to hear about it.

With so much happening in the automotive world at any given time I have literally limitless things to discuss, but I thought I would just start by saying thanks for reading this far.  Let’s see where this rabbit hole leads . . .
